Introducing Te Kōkō - Pīngao, our much-loved Mahana throw reimagined in warm, natural tones, with the distinctive golden hues of pīngao woven throughout.

Inspired by the manu tūī (kōkō) and its divine origins as a messenger between people and ngā Atua Māori.

This paraikete acknowledges our own origins, whakapapa, relationships and connection to our tūpuna - reflecting on the past and embracing the mātauranga of our ancestors.

Pīngao speaks to the warm, golden tones woven throughout this colourway. Traditionally treasured for raranga, pīngao carries its own connection to mātauranga passed down through generations - a fitting complement to a paraikete grounded in whakapapa, tūpuna and the knowledge of those who came before us.

100% Recycled cotton from pre-consumer waste. This means that all fabric cutoffs from other brands' apparel, are shredded and re-spun back into yarn. By recycling material that already exists, we are saving tens of thousands of litres of water by not having to grow new cotton.
